We wanted to have the look of traditional double hung windows for our new home, but our designer told us that double hung where not very energy efficient. We had spent a lot of time looking around at different window companies, but they all had the same energy efficiency problems. So our designer recommended that we contact Fairoak Timber Windows.
We spoke to Cled and told him of our dilemma and Fairoak was the only company to “think outside the box” and they designed a window that looked like double hung from the outside, but is in fact an Awning window above a fixed sash, which is energy efficient.
